1st XI & 2nd XI Nets Team selection takes place on Thursday Evenings.

Please can all senior members make sure they attend net practice on Tuesday's and Thursday's(DRILLS) from 6.00 unless date change due to Junior match fixtures and you will be notified either the week before/by phone/text or email. Look forward to seeing you all there

Juniors

JUNIORS

Net sessions every Friday from 6.15 pm remember pads, helmet, box, gloves and your bat, plus a drink.
equipment is also available to use for the evening.

We run teams in Heavy Woollen District Junior Cricket League in four sections U11, U13, U15 & U17 and also arrange friendly matches wherever possible to make sure all the children have the chance to take part.

Coaches

All our coaches have Enhanced CRB.

At Ossett CC there are UKCC (ECB)level 2 coaches in all our Junior Teams, U11,U13, U15, & U17. Three of our level 2 coaches have attended 6 workshops in Coach Development with the long term prospect of becoming level 3 coaches in mind. The Club is continues to work with our unqualified volunteers to guide them to their UKCC level 1 award.

Our coaches attended a variety of courses and conferences to ensure the best practice possible for all who attend Ossett CC whatever age group.

Stick Cricket Game



Along with our Club Mark Status we are now a Focus Club within our area for other clubs to come along and get advice from us and Nigel is working hard along with the Yorkshire Cricket Board so that we will hopefully be taking part in the Chance to Shine programme from 2009 - 2011, part of which is introducing cricket to local schools, more details to follow.
